For more than 50 years, Eric Yale Lutz has held executive positions in all aspects of commercial and multifamily real estate. Lutz has been at the forefront of many areas of real estate, including the acquisition, redevelopment and management of over 1.0 0 billion square feet of space. His involvement has included every major asset class: multifamily (5,000 units), retail (over 1.0MM SF), office/industrial (8.0MM SF), student housing (3,000 beds) and hospitality (600 rooms). As Chairman of Lutz Real Estate Investments, Lutz takes primary responsibility for risk management. He is also a Principal of Q10 | Lutz Financial Services, LLC and a board member of Q10 Capital, LLC - a national mortgage banking firm with twenty-six offices across the country supporting over 150 finance professionals that arrange approximately $5 billion in commercial real estate loans annually.

Lutz began his real estate career as a Principal of Schostak Brothers & Company, Inc. from 1964 to 1979, developing and directly overseeing the management divisions of all asset classes held by the firm. He has held the professional designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM), was a founding member and Vice Chairman of BOMA of Michigan and has been a keynote speaker at many national real estate conferences. He holds an undergraduate degree and continued postgraduate studies in the School of Business at Wayne State University
